Sebastián A. Caro, PhD and Master in Education from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In his postgraduate studies he has specialized in the study and application of Data Mining and Machine Learning in educational environments oriented to the understanding and prediction of retention and dropout of tertiary students from holistic models that integrate socio-demographic, financial, academic and psychosocial factors. In this sense, he has experience in quantitative and qualitative methods in educational contexts. In addition, she has a Master’s degree in Didactics of Language Teaching, which has enabled her to implement strategies for the development and promotion of communicative skills in university contexts.
During her career, she has worked in secondary and higher education institutions, both at undergraduate and graduate levels. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience in the fields of educational linguistics and teaching-learning of communication skills in a wide range of secondary and higher education institutions. In addition, she has participated in initiatives related to the social inclusion of vulnerable groups through different educational programs with elementary and secondary school students.
